THE NELSON CENTER
A Collaborative Approach to Pain & Injury Care
At The Nelson Center, we’re pioneering a new collaborative model for pain and injury care. Each client works with a small team of therapists who combine their skills to assess, treat, and educate-creating a personalized plan designed to help you move forward. Each session is typically performed while you remain comfortably clothed.
What to Expect
Your first visit at The Nelson Center is an initial assessment.
You’ll work with a small team of therapists who will:
-
Review your history and goals
-
Assess movement and relevant structures
-
Identify contributing factors to your pain or limitation
From there, we create a clear, individualized treatment plan. Because each client’s situation is unique, the Precision Neuromuscular therapy approach typically requires more than one session. Initial follow-up appointments are scheduled with one or more of the therapists involved in your first session to ensure continuity and progress.
A Different Kind of Care Model
The Nelson Center is both a treatment space and a teaching clinic.
This means your care benefits from:
-
A higher level of attention, intention, and precision
-
Collaborative clinical reasoning
-
Ongoing therapist development and mentorship
As your condition improves and your plan becomes more defined, we’ll help you transition seamlessly into ongoing care within our clinic.
Why Choose The Nelson Center?
This model is designed for clients who:
-
Would benefit to immediate access to care - this means that appointments at the Nelson Center tend to have greater availability
-
Feel stuck or have not gotten results with traditional approaches - often people seen here have fallen through cracks of the medical system
-
Value collaboration and clinical expertise
-
Are ready to actively participate in their recovery - sessions are highly educational, we encourage you to actively participate during your treatment as your feedback is invaluable
Our Purpose
The Nelson Center exists to elevate both client care and clinical practice. By creating a space for deeper assessment, collaboration, and learning, we strengthen not only your outcomes—but the quality of care delivered throughout Bodywork Associates.
