THE NELSON CENTER

This season in the clinic includes behind-the-scenes development of The Nelson Center— an evolving extension of our practice that supports clinical learning, mentorship, and assessment-based care. It exists within BodyWork Associates as a learning-forward environment for refinement, collaboration and growth, ultimately strengthening the care our clients receive in every treatment space.

What it is:
A learning-forward space within our clinic focused on problem-solving, mentorship, and collaborative care.

 

What it means for you (the client):
We’ve started referring some clients to our team at the Nelson Center, where we use a collaborative model for treating pain and dysfunction. You’ll work with a small group of therapists who coordinate together to assess and treat your issue. Sessions are effective, educational, and focused on YOU, our client.

 

How to be seen there: 
Appointments are scheduled through the same process as all sessions at BodyWork Associates. To get started, call 217-351-1011. The BWA front desk will take your information, send a Nelson Center therapist a message, and we will connect with you.

Request a TNC session if you are looking for a collaborative model for treating pain and dysfunction. You will work with a small group of therapists who coordinate together to assess and treat your issue. Your first appointment will be an initial assessment, all sequential appoints will be follow up sessions. It is our goal to move you to maintenance, at which point you will be able to go to any PNMT or LMT therapist.
